Today we went to Hornstra farms for ice cream and to see the spring calves. Luna and Sol are twins that were born a couple of weeks ago and those two cuties alone are worth a trip to the farm.

Three teenagers were standing on the fence in the barn looking at the new calves and Bennett climbed right up between them and started pointing and telling them something very important like, “look at these huge puppy dogs!”

Outside we visited the big cows and Bennett sat down in the dirt because dirt is far more interesting than big cows. Finn fell and scraped up his legs. It was serious pandemonium for a few minutes. Nothing an ice cream cookie couldn’t fix though. He sat on the bench outside the milk store and for a good five minutes he forgot all about his scraped knees. Jules slept through the whole thing and Bennett found some more dirt, so he was happy.
